First off you need to belong to a club to race in any MSA sanctioned event which all KZN Racing’s events are. If you’d like to join KZN Racing (you don’t have to, you can join any off road club but we’d like it if you joined us!) send a mail to our club secretary at info@kznracing.co.za and she’ll send you a membership form.

Once you’ve done that then you need to decide which class you want to start in and your options are Regional, Clubmans or Leisure.
Regional is the serious class. These riders are after provincial championships, possible provincial colours, keeping possible sponsors in the spotlight and work very hard every event.

Clubmans is not quite as serious but still very competitive. Riders fight for club championships and are pretty serious at doing it.
Leisure Class is for the fun guys, as competitive as you want to make it. Entry fee is much cheaper and MSA requirements are not as serious as the other two classes.

Currently race entry fees are as follows:
Regional Junior and Senior R650
Clubmans Junior and Senior R500
Leisure Junior and Senior R450

In Regional and Clubmans classes you need a competition license which you get from MSA Go to https://www.msaonline.co.za/ and register as a competitor. Once you’ve registered, log on and fill out the options for the class you choose, any problems have a look at

For both regional and clubmans you will be required to take out compulsory medical insurance, the options are on the msaonline site when you choose your license option.

The Leisure class entry fee is a one event license that includes your license cost, race entry fee and club membership for the race day, there is no medical cover option so riders need to supply proof of their own medical cover when entering.
